La Cabana is situated on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Cinque Terre and the historic center of Monterosso al Mare, which is about 600 meters away.
Immersed in greenery and in one of the most scenic locations of the entire area, La Cabana offers its guests the opportunity to watch the sun rise on the coast of the Cinque Terre, or enjoy beautiful sunsets over Punta Mesco in the evening.
The train station is located about 5 minutes away by taxi.
Walking down from La Cabana to the historical center of Monterosso is not difficult and takes less than ten minutes. It's a nice walk down that offers beautiful panoramic views. On the descent, you will first see the ancient 11th century castle, which today houses the cemetery of the village. The beautiful walk down continues through olive trees until you arrive in the heart of the historical center, and amongst the oldest and most characteristic narrow streets of Monterosso al Mare.
To return to La Cabana, we suggest that you take advantage of our free shuttle service, which is available from Fegina, the new part of Monterosso. Or, for those who enjoy hiking and want to fully enjoy the atmosphere and the ascent of the Cinque Terre trails, the same path that was taken down can be taken back up in about 20 minutes.
The room price includes parking and complimentary shuttle bus to go up and down from the village (from Fegina, the new part of Monterosso).
